wrongly towed in the mission district. parking patrol officers were giving out tickets and tow trucks were hauling cars as part of the post super bowl strategy. police wanted streets cleared if things got out of hand but signs on mission between 15th and 24th were only put up less than 24 hours before the restriction went into affect. city law requires there be at least 24 hours notice so a handful of cars were towed when they should nut have been. >> a new milestone for facebook. >> the niners only have one more season at candlestick park and now we know what will happen to the aging constitutional -- team leaves for

>> you can see high clouds on the sat right over our low clouds this morning. we will see an increase in sunshine but maybe not total sunshine with the high clouds. the more sun you will see to the south with temperatures at 63 in santa cruz and santa rosa and upper 50's to low 60's for most of us. the next couple of days the pattern shifts tomorrow. a cooler trends starts on wednesday and first chance of rain is thursday with temperatures in the middle-to-upper 50's. sue has a new accident.

>> i did. westbound at the bay bridge toll plaza. the left-hand cash lanes are stacked up because there is an accident at the toll plaza and crews are on the scene to push the cars out of there and someone was paying a toll and someone slammed into the back of them. no metering lights but the reason no the delay is an accident at the plaza. southbound 680 at scott creek road an accident blocking the off ramp and tow truck is on the scene getting the accident out of there north 87 the guadalupe parkway, that should be cleared any time. here is a look at drive times headed out 580 over the san mateo bridge and 101 over santa rosa. >> new this morning, when the 49ers next season fades into memory, so will san francisco's candlestick park. the city plans to blow up the 69,000 seat stadium weeks from

temperature change if you were not outside yesterday. it will be to degrees warmer in san jose and oakland and santa rosa and one degree warmer in san francisco and concord and fremont two degrees cooler. clouds today with fog through the 7:00 hour. upper 30's to mid-40's and increasing sunshine and low-to-mid 40's for large time temperatures and this afternoon, nice time to be outside, with temperatures in the mid-50's to around 60 and in the mid-40's to low 50's but not too cold in the evening. kristen and eric? >> menlo park facebook is celebrating the 9th birthday today. we were first introduced to zuckerberg in 2004 and he moved face book from palo alto to menlo park and now as of this morning there are a billion users and stock is trading at over $30 a share. it debuted at $38 but it lost half of the value to $20 before rebounding. >> political heavyweights are planning to speak today at the

funeral of former new york city mayor koch who died on friday at the age of 88. former president clinton is scheduled to speak along with current new york mayor bloomberg. the ceremony will be held at a synagogue that has members of joan rivers and spitzer. >> there will be a vote on the delay of gay marriage in britain, allowing same-sex marriage ceremonies. 70 percent support the bill as does the prime minister. however, cameron's conservative party is divide on it. many party members want to delay the vote until after the next election in 2015. >> president obama continue the tradition of taking part in a presuper bowl sunday interview and that is why he said women should be allowed in military combat role. >> women are in combat. they may not get treated as if they are but when they are in theater in places like iraq and afghanistan, they are

now, around the monterey bay, temperatures are coming up with the cloud cover filtering your way, and santa cruz and monterey up to 40 and 41 and salinas in the mid-to-upper 30's today, we have clouds but brighter this afternoon with temperatures close to average and cooler days on the way and the pattern shifts on wednesday with light rain thursday and light showers on friday and then the weekend will be dry and warmer. the cloud cover this morning shows it is spreading as we speak and by 8:00 it has reached all of our neighborhoods, and, then, it evaporates by noon and still a few clouds around the bay and the coast and the clouds there will open up from time to time, for sunshine, and it will be cloudy at the coast. a couple of areas of high pressure, still holding forthright now and you can see the clouds coming from the next system, and it will be here wednesday, with the cooler weather, and, then, it comes through, thursday and friday, and brings us that chance of wet weather.

hospitalized and is expected to live. police have not identified the gunman. >> also, police are investigating a fire at a marijuana grow house that broke out at midnight. no one was home. firefighters broke down the door to put out the fire believed to have started in the electric box and in the house they found 400 him marijuana plants and the power company says $4,700 of power was stolen. oracl. is buying something to improve the communication services for customers and paying more than $29 a slayer if the company that is 22 percent above the acme closing stock price. the shareholders have to sign off. >> the dow is below 14,000 after reaching that 5 that year high on friday.
